At NAB, the need for a robust system to manage certifications was evident. With a vast workforce specializing in cloud technologies, keeping track of their certifications and ensuring compliance with the latest industry standards was becoming increasingly complex. The previous v1 system was built by Graduates that didn't track people, was slow with a growing audience and eventually failed to render results. This challenge called for a solution that would streamline the process and improve transparency, and this is where the Certification Register v2 system came into play.

During my time at Microsoft from November 2004 to November 2006, I had the privilege of working as a professional developer support engineer for Australia and New Zealand. Specializing in code-related cases, I faced a multitude of challenges in diagnosing mission-critical problems for Microsoft's Gold and Premiere partners. One of the significant challenges revolved around efficiently handling event logs and identifying issues in applications running on Windows server clusters.
